Jennie, Todd & family decided this was going to be the best weekend for them to come down for a visit, so we decided to celebrate Easter a little early...
I made the kids sit on the front porch and show me their empty baskets.
Then they were off...gather as many eggs as you can. (We try to make sure all the kids get the same number of eggs....Jennie and I can't do math, there was some confusion on how many eggs they could gather up...8, 10, who knows!! at least in the end we figured it out and they all were happy!!)
Kyrsten was such a good cousin, she helped Miriam find all the eggs and only ended up with 1 in her basket (see above comments. . . she did end up with the same as everyone else!!)
Here they are with their "stash" of sugar high candy!!
We couldn't possibly leave the adults out. Last year I made each family a basket liner with their names on them. Needless to say, the adults made out as well, Thank you Grandpa!! (Grandma taught you well....we had more than enough candy to last the week!!)
